A Study on Awareness, Exposure and Attitude towards Digital Citizenship among University Students in Malaysia

Digital citizenship has received considerable huge attention from numerous researchers in recent years. Due to the tremendous work put forth by scholars, aimed explore in-depth relationship between students’ aptitude towards digital Malaysian educational context. This survey gathered 256 responses 17 public universities central region, north south and east region as well East Malaysia. Three independent variables namely awareness, exposure, attitude their relationships with (digital security, etiquette, rights responsibilities) dependent were examined. study relied on Partial Least Square Modeling (PLS-SEM) probe IV DV. A higher-order construct was studied a focus reflective model. The internal consistency, factor loading, convergent validity, discriminant validity of constructs indicators all tested using measurement structural model applied measure constructs. research reported that there substantial students' toward citizenship. In conclusion, university students Malaysia informed, exposed, had meticulous citizenship; however, proper training guidelines have be emphasized certain area, especially spectrum security. Further is encouraged, further recommendations also discussed this paper.
